    Jeffress is finally getting a shot to pitch at the major league level, hopefully this is what he needs to get his shit together. Quit the drugs and just focus on your game. WAYYYYY too much potential to piss it away on weed. And Gamel needs to play every fucking game from here til the end, get him ready to start next season. Villanueva, meh. Enjoy your time here. Probably gonna be gone next year, chief. I'll also take this opportunity to reiterate my thoughts on next year's team and what I think they're lineup will look like. Shut up, it makes me feel better.

    One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck up his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall, so the whole fiasco wound up on the news. It was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but next week, he did it again. Different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room. So, I run into him a week later in the mall and he's buying another cat. And I says to him, "Jesus, Walt! What are you doing? You know you're just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too. Why don't you knock it off?" And he said to me, "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy.

    Seems only slightly better than this year. I want to know what pitchers though, like right now.


    Anyone see Chapman throw 103mph against the Brewers last night? Yikes... then he's got off speed action in the mid 80's. Good combo, as long as he doesn't Strasburg his arm off.

    Jeffress pitched the 8th last night. Looked pretty alright. His offspeed is meh, but his fastball was 96-98. Definitely has major league stuff. Just needs some innings.

    what I don't get is guys throwing strikes on a fastball, and balls on a changeup... which then gets hit... and they KEEP FUCKING THROWING offspeed...
